Stephen Caldwell skillfully sets Geoffrey Brocks text, taken from his collection, Weighing Light. Accompanied by piano, the music is rich in harmonic variety and is presented in a wide dynamic palette, carrying the text with great care and sensitivity, which speaks to a level of personal commitment of the highest kind. Minimal divisi in all parts.
