The composer, Eunbi Kwak received a Bachelor’s Degree of Music Composition from Dankook University in South Korea. Currently, earned Master’s Degree in Composition at Westminster Choir College of Rider University. Ever since she joined the Canticle Singers during her undergraduate education, Kwak has been interested in exploring the possibilities of vocal music. She has written for solo voice, choirs, and chamber vocal ensembles. Indeed, the reason why she decided to pursue her graduate degree at Westminster Choir College was because of the school’s renowned choral and vocal history.
In 2014, she received the first prize of NJACDA choral composition competition. One of her choral pieces, The Remains, will be published by GIA Publications.
