Program Notes

A Lullaby is a setting of George Macdonald’s beautiful poem The Christmas Child. The piece weaves a lush tapestry out of gentle melodies in each part.  The music is intended to soothe and calm, and evoke the inherent mystery of Macdonald’s words.
