Steven Sametz gives us one of the most rhythmically active canons on the Noel text to date. Playful while retaining the Medieval flavor of the text. Nods to hocket and rhythmic activity contrasted against longer values abound. Your choir will love it! Have an SSAA choir? Sing everything up the octave. A mixed ensemble? Just double everything at the octave.
